Music, film and technology– all things SXSW. Tomorrow marks the kick-off of one of the biggest internet design and development events of the year– the 2006 SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas. I will be speaking on Sunday and Tuesday at the Adobe Day Stage Cafe and taking in all the festivities– interesting speakers and meet-ups, good conversation will inevitably flow.
It’s a small detail, but a significant one. A couple months ago, Microsoft agreed to standardize on a Mozilla’s RSS icon. It is significant because the letters “RSS†are meaningless to most people, and it’s a move in the direction of making the technology more accessible.Â
